Princess Crowns!

I'm very lucky because I have so many wonderful friends and many of my friends have known me for almost my entire life.  My oldest and best friend Dana and I have known each other for almost 30 years and we're only 32!

This month Dana's beautiful little girl, Megan turns 3 and she loves princesses and purple so I made her these awesome cookies to help her celebrate her birthday! Happy Birthday Megan!

These fun crowns have edible glitter on them to add some sparkle!

Babies..Babies...Babies

It's always fun when a couple decides not to find out the gender of their baby until the baby actually arrives.  When this happens all the preparation must be gender neutral, which usually means we bring on the white, green, and yellow!

Here are some gender neutral onsies for a baby shower! These guys will be individually wrapped with a bow! Congratulations to the parents to be!

Softball Champions!

All my life I was a softball player and even after college I played on an adult team. After I had my second child I was so busy that I just stopped playing.  This spring someone asked me if I wanted to join their summer team and I was happy to be back on the field playing!  We had a great season and won the championships! I made these softball/bat cookies to bring to our celebration!

I especially love the wood grain detail on the bats!

I can't wait for next season!

School is Cool!

My son is about to start kindergarten and next week is his orientation.  I thought it would be nice to give his teacher some apple cookies to wish her a happy school year.  Since I'm a teacher myself I understand how nice it is when parents and students reach out in a positive way.  I hope she enjoys these!

These minis are the perfect little treat!

I individually wrapped up these cookies and packaged them in a nice box! Happy School Year!

Lobster Invasion!

Maine is a beautiful state and is known for lobsters and lighthouses.  If you're traveling to Maine there is no better gift to bring than some cookies shaped like lobsters and lighthouses!

This picture allows you to see the red on red details on the lobsters themselves!
These cookies did give me a good laugh though. When I ordered the cookie cutters I didn't think about the size and the lobsters happen to be bigger than the lighthouses so it looks like the attack of the killer lobsters! Enjoy!

80 Years Young!

My Grandpa recently turned 80!  He is such a loving and wonderful man and his daughters gave him a great 80th birthday party!  I made some fun cupcake and party hat cookies for everyone to enjoy at the party! I love you Grandpa!

ROAR - You're turning 5!

My friend's son is turning 5 and he is really into dinosaurs.  So we made him a bag with a dino and the number 5 for him to give to his friends as a favor!

Lots of T-Rex Cookies! They look like they're migrating here!

Wrapped up - a T-Rex and a 5!

 Happy Birthday Evan!

If You're Feeling Crabby - Have a Cookie!

When my friend, Ellen, called saying she wanted to bring favors to her cousin's bridal shower in Maryland, I suggested hearts, engagement rings, or wedding dresses.

Ellen got creative and she wanted Pink and Green Crabs! Get it - Maryland...crabs!  They are huge cookies and they are tasty too!

Apron Cookies for a Cooking themed shower!

A co-worker recently asked me to make some cookies for her daughter in law to be's bridal shower.

The shower is going to have a great cooking theme and she wanted something to go with it.  This is the invitation that shows the theme and the colors. (I scribbled out the personal information.)
This is such a cute invitation!
So we decided that I would make apron cookies in the bridal colors! Here they are!

Here they are wrapped up!

 Happy Bridal Shower!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries are so delicious! These are dipped in chocolate and covered with a variety of treats such as walnuts, mini chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, sprinkles, cookies and cream crunch, and a few plain ones too!

These are always a special treat!

These are in progress!

The finished product! Beautiful and tasty!

Cake Balls!

Cake ball might sound like a funny word but it is a bite size treat that is amazing!  It involves cake, icing, and chocolate! What could be better?  The Cake balls are super moist and delicious!

These are vanilla cake balls covered in chocolate!

Marshmallow Pops!

My son's birthday is in July so I wanted to make something simple for him to bring into school this week to share with his friends to celebrate his summer birthday early!

He helped me make these beautiful and amazingly easy marshmallow pops!

Here they are wrapped up and ready!

These are so easy to make and the kids can help too! Here is what you need:

Marshmallows (any size and flavor)
Lollipop sticks (you can get these at Michael's)
Melting chocolate
Sprinkles

Directions:

-Melt your chocolate according to the package directions.

-Dip the lollipop stick into the chocolate and then insert it into the marshmallow (this just helps it stay on the stick).
-Swirl the marshmallow into the chocolate and sprinkle with any type of topping or sprinkles you'd like to use.
-Stick them in some Styrofoam so they can dry upright.
-Wrap them in clear bags and tie with a ribbon!

Here is what they look like when they're drying.  This is simply a foam block from a craft store and I used a stick to make some pre made holes.

I chose to display them in a wooden utensil holder but you can set them up in a glass vase, on a platter or any way you'd like! Be creative!

Birthday Fun!

Sometimes it's fun to change up the traditional birthday cupcake cookie, so I made these with a polka dot bottom and sprinkled on top! The balloon is a fun touch for the birthday girl!

 Happy Birthday Aubrey!

Nautical Baby Onsies!

My cousin and his wife are expecting their first baby this summer and they live down the shore and are planning on making the little guys room with a nautical theme.

I made these anchor onsies as shower favors!

We can't wait to meet the little one! Happy Baby Shower!
