Book Love Retirement

Baking cookies is a hobby of mine but not my actual profession.  I am a high school English teacher and this month one of my mentors is retiring.  We are so happy for her to enjoy this next phase of her life but we are also so sad to see her go.  I made these book cookies to help celebrate her.  My fellow teachers helped me come up with some funny titles and I added her name as the author.  Carol, best of luck in your retirement!

Time to Retire to the Golf Course!

My friend, Theresa's father is retiring after working for 33 year for FedEx.  He is hoping to spend his newly acquired free time on the golf course!

I put together this platter of cookies to help him celebrate! Congratulations!

School's out for Summer...School's out Forever!!

I have been a teacher for the last 11 years and I still have many more years of teaching ahead of me.  I often wonder what it will feel like when I'm retiring and school is out forever.

I made these sweet apple cookies for a school retirement dinner! Such a nice way to send off a colleague who has dedicated her life to teaching! Happy Summer!
