Wedding party cookies

One of my students is in a wedding this summer and wanted to bring a special sweet treat to the bride and other bridesmaids on the big day.  I made these bride and bridesmaids dresses for her! So sweet! 

The Snow is Still on the Ground but Wedding Season is coming up!

After this crazy winter, it's hard to picture spring but there are many Brides getting ready to celebrate their big days! That means bridal showers are happening right now!  

I made these simple but sweet wedding dress and heart cookies for a Bride- to - Be! 

Frozen Cookies are better than freezing temperatures!

Here in NJ we are in the middle of a freeze! Tomorrow is supposed to feel like -20 degrees! I'd much rather have these fun Frozen cookies than be outside freezing! 

These are for a brother and sister team who, like so many of us, are in love with Frozen!

Dance Recital Fun!

A friend of mine from work wanted to bring a special treat to her Granddaughter's dance recital and asked me if I could make cookies that looked like the girl's dance costumes! 

These were fun to create! 

The left is the real costume and the right is the cookie version! 

Wedding season is upon us!

Wedding season is about to begin and there are showers and festivities galore! Cookies are a great favor for bridal showers and wedding dress cookies are some of the most popular ones ordered! 

These are the "smaller" wedding dresses but they are still 4 inches tall and a great favor!

Wedding Season Kickoff Party!

A friend is about to throw a wedding season kickoff party for three of her close friends who are all getting married in the next few months.  The girls are going to get together, drink some wine, talk weddings, and enjoy these beautiful cookies! The flowers correspond with the color schemes of the upcoming weddings! 

 

Wedding dresses are BACK!

When I made these dresses a few months ago, everyone went crazy for them! Here they are again with a slight variation - green sparkly sashes! 

These cookies are beautiful and big - a great shower favor! 

These gorgeous dresses are tasty too!

Even though I use the same cookie cutter for all the dresses they are each unique and slightly different, which I think is kind of nice !

 Happy Wedding Shower to the Bride to Be!

Wearing White

My friend is having a bridal shower for her son's fiance and she commissioned me to make some favors for the shower. After some debate she decided on a white dress with a sweetheart neckline, a sparkly tie on the waist, some flowers and a pearl and some lace on the bottom.  I love these cookies! 

I used purple and pink for the flowers.  Here they are paired with some simple and pretty heart cookies!

The dresses - they are large cookies!

You can kind of see the sparkly waistband in this shot.  It would look nice in silver too.

All wrapped up! The bottoms of the dresses were so big they hardly fit in the bags.

I just love the shots of them all wrapped up - I guess I feel accomplished!
