These are a few of my FAVORITE THINGS!

My Sister in law is getting ready to celebrate a very special birthday and she wanted some fun cookies to commemorate this event.  She wanted her initial, which is an "S" and cookies that represented all of her favorite things!

I think they came out really cute!

She chose to have Dog paws (because she loves her pup, Milo), Seashells, tennis balls and Mahjong tiles!

Tennis Balls - She loves playing tennis!

Dog Paws - She has a cute pup named Milo!

Shiny seashells - she's a beach girl!

Mahjong Tiles!

Each party guest will get a bag with an S cookie and one of her favorite things cookies!

Aren't these patterned bags so cute!

Happy Birthday to my sister Stephanie!

Baseball Birthday!

A good friend of mine is celebrating his birthday this week so I made a cookie tray to bring into work to help him celebrate!

He likes baseball and chocolate so it was easy to decide what to make!

Baseballs and cupcakes with a candle!

On the tray

All Wrapped up!

 Happy Birthday Bob!

Even though the winter is still upon us it's not too early to start thinking of springtime!

Snickerdoodles!

Snickerdoodles are a sugary cinnamon treat! They are perfect for dunking and fun to eat on a winter day!

Here is the recipe:

1 c. soft shortening
1 1/2 c. Sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 Tbl. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
1. Mix shortening, sugar and eggs
2. Sift flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt together
3. add to shortening mixture and add vanilla
4. In a separate small bowl mix the sugar and cinnamon
5. Roll into balls the size of a small walnut
6. Roll the ball in the cinnamon and sugar mixture
7. Place two inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets
8. Bake for 8-10 minutes  *NOTE* Make sure you know your oven - I baked these for about 7 minutes and still had some bottoms that were too dark so vary the time to fit your oven!

Enjoy!

Music to Your Taste Buds!

I recently posted about some FUN and FUNKY cupcake cookies that I made for Noelani's 13th Birthday. (See that post HERE!)

Well, Noelani loves music and I wanted to make her a special surprise for her birthday party so I made this fun platter of music notes, hearts, and a purple "N" with zebra print!

I'm going to wrap these up so she can enjoy them with her friends or bring them home to celebrate with her family!

Funky Cupcakes

Noelani is turning 13 and her Mom wanted to have some fun and funky cookies for her friends to take home after the party.

I made some deep purple cupcake cookies with zebra print cupcake wrappers!

These cupcake cookies are so much fun and so cute! They have a little sparkle too!

All wrapped up and ready to party!

Stay tuned to see the awesome cupcakes I'm going to make to match these cookies!

Happy 13th Birthday Noelani!

Mardi Gras and Animal Prints

If you were turning 7 years old you would want to have a Mardi Gras-Animal print themed party too!

Lexi loves animal prints so I created some fun cookies for her to give to her friends at her 7th Birthday party!

Here we have purple on purple leopard print Mardi Gras masks, a sparkly #7, and pink zebra print hearts!

Here they are packaged up with a bag topper. Each girl will take home a bag of three cookies!

Happy 7th Birthday Lexi!
