Trucks and Tractors!

A very good friend of mine is having a party to celebrate her son's 3rd birthday and since he is obsessed with trucks, diggers, and construction, I made him some truck and tractor cookies to help him celebrate!!

Dump Truck Cookies! I love that the "stones" in this truck are so colorful and fun!

Tractor Cookies!

Here is the tray, complete with traffic cones and some personalized cookies! Such a fun party platter!

Apron Cookies for a Cooking themed shower!

A co-worker recently asked me to make some cookies for her daughter in law to be's bridal shower.

The shower is going to have a great cooking theme and she wanted something to go with it.  This is the invitation that shows the theme and the colors. (I scribbled out the personal information.)
This is such a cute invitation!
So we decided that I would make apron cookies in the bridal colors! Here they are!

Here they are wrapped up!

 Happy Bridal Shower!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries are so delicious! These are dipped in chocolate and covered with a variety of treats such as walnuts, mini chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, sprinkles, cookies and cream crunch, and a few plain ones too!

These are always a special treat!

These are in progress!

The finished product! Beautiful and tasty!

Cake Balls!

Cake ball might sound like a funny word but it is a bite size treat that is amazing!  It involves cake, icing, and chocolate! What could be better?  The Cake balls are super moist and delicious!

These are vanilla cake balls covered in chocolate!

Marshmallow Pops!

My son's birthday is in July so I wanted to make something simple for him to bring into school this week to share with his friends to celebrate his summer birthday early!

He helped me make these beautiful and amazingly easy marshmallow pops!

Here they are wrapped up and ready!

These are so easy to make and the kids can help too! Here is what you need:

Marshmallows (any size and flavor)
Lollipop sticks (you can get these at Michael's)
Melting chocolate
Sprinkles

Directions:

-Melt your chocolate according to the package directions.

-Dip the lollipop stick into the chocolate and then insert it into the marshmallow (this just helps it stay on the stick).
-Swirl the marshmallow into the chocolate and sprinkle with any type of topping or sprinkles you'd like to use.
-Stick them in some Styrofoam so they can dry upright.
-Wrap them in clear bags and tie with a ribbon!

Here is what they look like when they're drying.  This is simply a foam block from a craft store and I used a stick to make some pre made holes.

I chose to display them in a wooden utensil holder but you can set them up in a glass vase, on a platter or any way you'd like! Be creative!

Birthday Fun!

Sometimes it's fun to change up the traditional birthday cupcake cookie, so I made these with a polka dot bottom and sprinkled on top! The balloon is a fun touch for the birthday girl!

 Happy Birthday Aubrey!

Nautical Baby Onsies!

My cousin and his wife are expecting their first baby this summer and they live down the shore and are planning on making the little guys room with a nautical theme.

I made these anchor onsies as shower favors!

We can't wait to meet the little one! Happy Baby Shower!

Kindergarten class of 2013!

All graduations are exciting and call for a celebration - even Kindergarten graduations!

These cookies will help some excited kids celebrate!

 Congratulations Class of 2013!

Welcome to Minnie's Bowtique!

Minnie Mouse and her bows are more popular than ever and these cookies will make a 2 year old Minnie fan very happy!

 I just LOVE these!

Graffiti Cookies!

Sometimes I have a little extra dough left when I'm baking and I usually have good intentions of creating something new and fun but by the time I work all day, take care of the kids, and work on cookies...I'm exhausted!

So here is what I did - some simple and fun graffiti cookies!

They actually look cute wrapped up.  These will be visiting my neighbors!
